News Bulletin

Okay so I have a lot of news;

First of all, I lost my Carlitta save. I just about died. But I'm over it now, and have have moved on to bigger and greater things (um, okay...)
Secondly, I uprooted The Isle of Lotta (again - whadayouknow) To appaloosa Plains, where I've settled for the time being. I'll fill you all in on what I've done there - which  is a lot. So I might be a bit slow, but it's coming!

I'm done now. Wow, that's a whole lot less news than I thought it was. Well, whatever, I guess :)

The Building of Lottaburg #1

I am currently launching myself into a new project: Building a new town. Cause I'm a doofus with CAW (I have tried and failed many, many times) I'm taking an existing world and rebuilding the lots and adding some new ones. The world I chose is Barnacle Bay, cause I like the lot placement. I do realize it's an island, and let me tell you a secret: I HATE Islands. I don't know why, I just do. I think it's because I can't imagine another town around the mountain i it's an island. But with Island Paradise ( a new expansion pack to be released in June) having boats, an island just seemed more bearable :)

The Gap Year #2

Dear viewers - this is about to get a bit hectic :D It's not really my doing , cause I just follow wishes and leave them to their own devises.So , here you go... I apologize for the rudeness - I  must confess I was a bit shocked at how things turned out =/ but what can you do?

Chan: "I was thinking about what you said at the fair, it's intriguing."

"I know what you're looking at..."

"So you met him through The SPA??"

"I really think I'm in love!"

"My brother really does go for the crazies..."

"Brother, we were having a conversation here!"

"Go away sis - You don't wan't to see this."

"You can't chase me away! I was here first!"

"Urg! I've got to get outta here! This is so gross!"

Then Chan had to leave for work, so Carlita went to lounge by the public poolhouse.

"Don't I look good!"

"Wowzas! This is cold!"

"That really wasn't such  a good idea..."

"I think I'll just have a little nap to warm me up"

"Damn! How much time has passed? Chan should have called me by now!"

"If he doesn't want to do something - I'll have a night for myself!

Hmm... I'm so sad. Sitting all on my own, eating a pulled pork sandwich. This thing looks just like a hamburger. I mean couldn't EA try to make it a bit different - Wait WHAT? Who's EA? That was weird...

I think I need a drink!"

"This doesn't look particularly strong..."

                                                                "Well here goes!"

"Okay... I'm taking that back! This is strong!"

"Heyyyrr mooommm! you'll neverrr geusss whattt I've beeen dssoing...? 

Ohh! Whatsht this, Chan wansht to cyberwoohoo? Sssuuuurre!"

*btw. this was entirely her idea*

"Life sure looks good with some nectar! I'm such a lush!"

"Dear Chan - Urrgg giggles! I would love to see you again, but let's take it slow *hick* hahahaHAHA"

*A Drunk Carlita is something I'm not trying again - she scared me a bit*

The Gap Year #1

So here is my first story, hope you like it. I don't "force" my sims to do anything, I just do what they wish.
This is Carlita Vicetti ( Now I wonder what that reminds me of... )

This is her accommodation, supplied by the Monte Vista Travel Agency.

She is taking a gap year before she goes to University (pssst.. waiting for Uni EP).
She is traveling all over the world, making friends and building experience.  Every season means a new country to explore. Her mother is Italian so the first stop will naturally be Monte Vista. Every season her parents send 10 000 Simoleons, but if that pit dries up (as it inevitably will ;) she has to make her own way.

Just as Carlita settled in, two locals came to welcome her to the neighborhood: A mister Luigi and a local safety representative.

They swiftly got to know each other. And little Carlita thinks Mister Luigi is pretty damn cute!

She tried to be enthusiastic about everything he said... "Yes! Meteors are actually the creatures of the outer SimVerse!

After they left she tried to clean up her flat. "Damn!This place is dirty! Well, shows you - cheap just isn't quality!"

"I think I'll inspect Monte Vista - I'll invite that handsome guy that stopped by earlier to the Farmers Market!"

To put things shortly, Luigi doesn't feel the same way! Carlita was deeply hurt and embarrassed about how she threw herself at him... "What can I say - He's Italian!"

To distract herself, she chatted to a local about what she should do tomorrow. "Go to the pet store!  There is something there that makes everyone go quite bonkers! About animals, of course." 

Before she knew it, Carlita's first day abroad was over. "Time for a snack, me thinks!"

"Oh hey Mama, it's beautiful, you just can't imagine my view!"

Time for bed!

"Great, just when I'm under the Tuscan sun, It rains. Oh well. I guess I will go to the Pet Store then, but first, something to eat! That late night snack didn't go very far!"

After eating Carlita brushed her teeth. She promised her mother that even though she was leaving the house it didn't mean she left her manners.

At the pet store, Carlita is quickly drawn to a chipmunk.

"Aww! He's so CUTE!"

I wonder what that lady meant about the pet store making people crazy?

Oh wait. That.

"So do you wanna come to my party? Birdie? BIRDIE?"

It apparently also effects locals...

After this, Carlita went to the restaurant.

After her delicious meal, Carlita wanted the recipe, so she visited the library. And who does she meet there? Luigi!

"Oh! He is so old... I really do chose them well, don't I?"

Before she left she sent a email home.

And so another day ended.

Thankfully the rain had stopped this morning, so she went to the localk spa. Noticing a sign saying "Matchmaking, $500", she said "What the heck! I already failed once!"

The service went well, and she left with the number of Chan Kheng.

She does look a bit queasy though... Nerves?

She quickly dialed his number...

They arranged to meet at the local fair.

"Hmm... Didn't Luigi have those sunglasses?"

                           She asked him, straight away, the most important question. Not.

"What rugby team do you support?"

"I'm so glad to hear you're a Springbok supporter!"

"I guess that much exercise is bad... uhh..."

Things quickly got romantic.

And my Carlita.... she doesn't like to dilly dally...

"I really had a great date - maybe we should go back to your place...?"
